We used William and Jenny for a building inspection as first time buyers. We went for the combination of the verbal report and the full written report and were very impressed. Being able to walk around the property with William was incredibly useful, especially early on in our journey to get a feel for what to look for, but also to put the written report into context. William and Jenny are professional, knowledgeable and very thorough. Their knowledge of building regulations, and weather-tightness especially, was evident throughout the inspection alongside being able to discuss findings as part of the house as a whole.The service was prompt, and the final building report was thorough and easy to navigate.We would definitely recommend William and Jenny to anyone requiring a building report.

William inspected two properties for us and we were blown away by his knowledge, professionalism, honesty and kindness. To walk alongside him for 2-3 hours while he inspects the property and explains not only what the issues are but what to do to fix them was invaluable and provided us with some knowledge and skills moving forward. William supported us through unforeseen issues that arose due to a ingenuine real-estate agent and took multiple calls from us which we are so grateful for. William provides a one of a kind service which is worth every dollar, I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a property you will not be disappointed. Thanks again William for helping us. Thank you to William & Jenny I appreciated your services in my recent property inspection. Jenny's service was prompt, professional and accommodating. William provided a "delightful" house inspection service. William patiently explained everything so that we understood and were aware of imminent and foreseeable areas to think about along with an idea of cost. I felt comfortable asking any questions, William would take the time to answer as we walked through the inspection. I learnt a lot along the way.Great service! Would give more stars if we could! Explained everything in detail and made sure we understood what we would get ourselves into if we purchased the property. As first home buyers it’s quite daunting when trying to buy a home, but William made us feel at ease due to his expertise re buildings and construction. Great service and top communication - will be asking for more inspections in case auctions don’t go as planned. Can absolutely recommend!

From start to finish, working with William of Auckland Affordable Inspect a Home was the best choice I could have made, and resulted in the best possible outcome achievable with my insurance claim.I would 100% recommend William and have done so to friends. Williams technical construction knowledge and understanding of the insurance claim process was second to none.
